  1. No idea how my mind does it really. Never really thought about it.
I do write down quite a lot of things though. That does help for sure.

That said, it is getting confusing at times, especially when having to keep up with changes in TRNG and/or plugins.
Like for example I am now using the Classic Ring Inventory plugin. Which is awesome because you can turn whatever item into an examine item.
But installing it meant I had to expand my script with lots of extra stuff and I had to test all items to see if they looked good in the inventory. I also had to make sure that items that are shared between levels look the same in each level.
And I'm currently going through the script again, this time to make sure all Diary pages that contain info on the secrets are re-added to the Diary after a ResetHub leveljump.
I recently found out that ResetHub deletes diary pages... :angry2:

As for keeping up with the plot, well, that's okay since I had already written out the story before I started these levels.
Some minor things have been changed here and there but the big picture is still the same: Coastal levels, go inside caves, get back out to coastal levels, leave with dingy, dive to remnants of Atlantis, explore Atlantean caves and ruins to find Avalon boat, release boat and use it to go to Avalon, explore Avalon and it's caves to find Stone of Omphalys (basically the heart and soul of Avalon).
Lara comes across some bad guys along the way, Gideon Barrett being the leader of the bunch and he is following her on several occasions. They are having a bit of a cat and mouse game going.

  2. Haven't been here in ages...

Doesn't mean I haven't been working on these levels.

Progress is slow, with all the covid related stuff going on at work and all that, but there is progress nonetheless.
Nothing new to show though... All levels have basically been made and are done apart from cutscenes, some scripting here and there, dotting the i's and crossing the t's.
Then there's Meta2TR work to be done (for more details and more textures as the wads are really getting stuffed...) and the endcutscene with credits.
Sounds like it will be finished this year when I say it like that, but that won't happen. All these things will take me a lot of time to do unfortunately.
I have 17 playable levelfiles by now...

  3. No new screens, but I have been making some progress.
Going slow these days due to studying AND working.

Schools are currently closed over here, but I do have to provide my classes with online lessons. Which for some reason take more time to prepare then regular lessons...
And uni is still going as well. Also with online sessions instead of lectures at the school itself.
Even had an exam the other week, which I managed to pass in one go. Not a very high grade, but still, got that one in the pocket. :683746041_beercheers2:

  4. Happy New Year to you as well! :683746041_beercheers2:

DJ-Full told people he has died... :classic_sad:
Has TC14 been in touch with Jon?

Btw, DJ just asked me if this rumour has been confirmed. He thought you had taken up the project because of Jon passing away.
But that is not the case I see.

  5. I meant at our coasts. :classic_tongue:
Plenty of coastline here. Including the islands.

Although the northern Wadden Islands wouldn't be suitable anyway. Very shallow around them, at least at their southern shores. Apart from the canals (right word?) used by ferries to go to and from the islands, you can often walk from one island to the next or to the mainland at low tide.  Mudflat walking it is called in English I think.
Not that you will manage to stay dry when doing so, and you risk losing your shoes if you are not careful, but there are places where you can walk. Well, wade...

  6. Learned something new today.

I knew about the female-like appearance and becoming flightless but didn't know it was called that. I wonder if there's a Dutch word for it as well.

Our ducks always looked dreadful when going through this phase. "Amputated" wings, only a couple of tail feathers left, shabby.
One of the ducks we've had once started moulting in December, right when it started to freeze. Poor thing was shivering she we kept her inside for a while! She died the next summer. A duck going into eclipse in the middle of winter is not a good sign... something is not right then.

  7. Ducks for the win! :flowers:

Coming out of eclipse? No idea.
Our mallards just went through the moulting season and are looking mighty fine again. All ready for the winter with shiny new feathers.
Could that have to do with it? With recovering after moulting?

  8. Ducks might just eat about anything they can get when the weather is like that. :ponder:
I don't remember there being many other birds among the groups of ducks...

Our ducks used to like lettuce.
And one of them even liked slightly cooked cauliflower and lukewarm tea.

    Speaking of soft apples:
Back when my parents still had apple trees in their garden, we would have drunk Admiral butterflies. They would eat from the rotten apples and get drunk.
Flying wobbly and sitting down on our arms like they would never do when being sober. LOL! :laugh5:

  9. Beautiful place! :classic_love:

    Those ducks in the snow...
I remember back when I was living in a town called Kampen, they would always put straw on the ice and snow when the winter was harsh.
And they'd also feed the ducks bread and soft apples.
And in spring they would place nesting baskets in all ponds and canals. That town took really good care of its birds. :classic_love:

  10. Sorry. Too busy with work and studies.

But when it comes to technical support I don't mind being on standby.
Provided TRNG is used that is... Don't know anything about TREP anymore...

  11. Ugh... that sounds issue again when using objects from someone else.... :OMG:

My sounds are not in the default TRLE format.
I'll see if I can change them.
The sounds are also from TRU if I remember correctly. Because that game had the harpoongun.

  12. Which TRNG version are you using btw?
Mine is Can't remember when the harpoongun thingy was implemented...

    Going through my script now.

    *** EDIT ***
    Got it.
    It is the Customize=      CUST_HARPOON, ***** script. :D

  13. ResetHub will work. It is for cases like this where something Lara-related changes.
And if you need her to keep her complete inventory (including keys and puzzle-items) you can use PreserveInventory= ENABLED in the same level you are using the ResetHub= in.

Hi, I downloaded that HD remake pack yesterday and I'm just about to go work on the TGA. Lara by you has the crossbow + ammo. It needs to be the harpoon gun. Adding Jon's harpoon and crossbow anim causes crashes. No idea what I'm doing here lol

Ah, crossbow was included... Oh dear.
    Hold on...

    *** EDIT ***
    I've sent you a PM. :D

  15. Was the harpoon gun included in the download? Including the CROSSBOW_ANIM?

You can customize the harpoon gun if you want using a script for it.
    Same for the ammo.
Here's what I'm using for my harpoon gun:

So my harpoon gun only uses regular arrows and explosive arrows.
And this ammo can also be customized using the Customize=      CUST_AMMO, CROSSBOW_AMMO1_ITEM, *******  command

Btw, AgentXP made a very good HD remake pack of the Sleeping with the Fishes textures: https://www.trsearch.org/item/4534
    In case you are interested.
