What better way to start the new month than with a pair of shelducks flying together across a gorgeous sky.

Two baby rabbits I met on my morning walk. Hopefully they'll get used to me and I'll be able to get a bit closer.

Feeling lost? Has the tide gone out and left you stranded on strange shores? This wilk knows just how you feel.

Lots of fledglings around now. Here's a song thrush.

Grabbed this shot of an arctic tern feeding another tern on Brora beach this morning. I'm not sure, but I think it's a courtship thingie, a male feeding a female. I'm still researching. If it's a pair, they will be nesting shortly.

Just learned that most terns have similar courtship behaviour with males feeding females fish.

These appeared in my front garden this week. I'm not long into this house and didn't know they were there. Anyone know which Iris this is?

Yes, I'd have to go with that. I wonder how on earth they got their name? They can't grow over there, surely? :classic_laugh:
