Deirdre, you have a natural eye for a photo. You seem to be instinctively aware of what a good photo is, but you just lack a few techie skills to produce what it is you are seeing. You were right with the portrait orientation, that is where the photo is, and you are right about the bins. Here's the photo you were trying to capture. Just be patient and I'll teach you how to bring out your photos like this. Won't happen overnight, but you're a quick learner so it won't take too long.

Bit rainy today, but I'm looking out the window thinking I might get out for a walk with the camera soon as it seems to be brightening up a bit.

Just back, the rain stayed off, and it was warm. I think today was the first warm day of the year, no need for a fleece or a hat, lovely down there. Got some rather special photos too! I'll post one here when I've taken them off the camera, checked them through, filed the keepers and sorted them out.

Doing a bit more social distancing. Bit strange this one, as he didn't appear to have a white chest but he does have white feathers under his wing.
