Look who I met along the banks of the River Brora today. The adders are pretty well established around here. Beautiful creatures, look at his red eyes.

I'm getting better at finding the snakes. They are incredibly shy and hard to find. I've never heard of anyone being bitten by one, but I have heard of dogs being bitten. My guess is they only strike if threatened.

The skies over Brora were filled with pink footed geese leaving their winter feeding grounds and heading home for the summer. See you again  next year guys.

The leaves unfurled on the trees last night and they were turning green this morning. Summer has arrived! What a beautiful day. The local canoe club were enjoying the good weather too.

It's good to see the cows enjoying the good weather and wandering down to the beach. Not sure if they enjoyed the seaweed or not.

The roddys are out, and very pretty they are too. These are in my garden, outside my living room window. What are roddys? Well, I never did learn to spell rhododendrums and it's a really stupid name for a flower anyway. I mean, really? Rod odd end Rum. What kind of a stupid name is that? Whoever came up with it should have been given a slap and told to wind their neck in. Roddys will do fine for me as that is the last time I'm ever going to look it up to see how you spell it.

I've made a friend down the golf course, a skylark. He follows me around and lets me get some nice photos. It's so good to see them coming back. There were none a few years back, because of the RSPB. The bastards released tons of kestrels and other birds of prey into the countryside and all the song birds were eaten to death, driven to extinction. When the food disappeared all the stupid kestrels died of starvation. Now the song birds are coming back. I wish someone would fuck off the RSPB and put the shitholes in jail or something, they shouldn't be permitted to interfere with Scotland. As far as I'm concerned they are a racket run by ignorant, lazy, greedy, arrogant freemason dickheads and no one should give them any money.
